192.168.1.254 IP address








192.168.1.254 is a default IP address for some of the broadband routers and modems. That is this IP address cannot be access directly from internet and this block is reserved for private networks. Some of the common routers and modems which uses this IP address are Billion, 2Wore, SparkLAN, Westell modems etc.

While a router will have this IP address – 192.168.1.254 however it will assign a different IP address to another device linked to it to avoid any kind of IP address conflicts. In case you don’t know the IP address of your router, then you could locate it using a command prompt by following the simple steps below –

Press the window menu button and click the command prompt.
Enter – ipconfig,to display the list of connections on your computer.
Now find the default gateway under your local area connections section and now this is your router’s IP address.
